Sod Installation in Indianapolis
Sod brings instant gratification of the perfect lawn look. Unlike seed and straw there is no waiting for the grass to grow and fill out. Sod will look good the moment we install it. Precision Cut has installed sod for large commercial projects and has filled dead spots at residential homes.
The way it works is we come in and measure your lawn to scope the size and difficulty, which is based on how many cuts will have to do to the sod rolls. This information will determine your price. Our crew then picks up the freshly cut rolls the day of the job from our supplier.
They come to your house and start tilling the area being sodded, which gets the old grass up and loosens the soil for the sod roots. We then rake up the old grass so it won’t decompose under the sod and leave dips in the grass, as well as smooth out the area as best as possible (sometimes top soil is needed to be brought in if you want some grading done).
Then we throw starter fertilizer down and roll out the sod, making the necessary cuts around edges and objects in the yard to make it look perfect.
